Has anyone tried the new Double Fine game on the Xbox or PSN.

I've only just started playing it, but loving it so far.

It's not a typical adventure game, but the puzzles are pretty cool.

You play the youngest of a family of chimney sweeps in the 1930's who live in a world where everyone is russian dolls. You can take over other dolls to gain their abilities to get past puzzles (i.e each doll is like an inventory item).

The humour reminds me of prior Schaffer games with odd characters and funny weird puzzles.

So far it's an interesting puzzle adventure.

Wow, I saw the name and reviews for this but just shrugged it off thinking it was something to do with the whole "cup stacking" sport that kids do...gonna have to check this out.

It looks like fun, Lucien.
oes the game give you a chance to decide which character to take over?  Are there penalties for choosing the wrong one?

Lady Kestrel, the whole game consists of choosing which doll to take over. There are no wrong dolls and no penalties, and you can always leave the doll again and try another to see what its specific ability is and how that may help you (or not). You can always only stack with a doll that is exactly one size bigger, so you may have to stack a few times to get to the doll you need for the specific puzzle you are working on. All puzzles have multiple solutions, and the fun is in figuring them all out (you can always go back to a puzzle you've tried before to try something different even if you've already solved it). There's quite a bit of 'naughty' fun to be had, too, as some of the dolls have special abilities like rancid belches or flatulence which make other dolls around them turn away in disgust. I'm about halfway through and like it a lot.

I've been looking for something to play on hubby's PS3. Lucien21, you know my tastes well enough. Do you think I might enjoy this game?
It sounds a bit like Puzzle Bots (each robot has a unique talent), which I liked.
