1. Spoiler AlertJust general movement lines? Walking, gesturing, etc. 2.Spoiler Alert Speed lines, a way of depicting something moving fast. 3. Spoiler AlertSweat or tears? Frustration, surprise, or possibly an indication of exertion. 4. Spoiler AlertConfusion, perhaps a sign of being stunned after getting hit by something. 5.Spoiler AlertA cloud of dust, an indication of a quick burst of speed from standing still

Edit: I mean #4 is usually used with people. You have the correct answer for #2.

Status : Offline | Ok, is #1 possibly Spoiler Alerttracks or.. -no not footprints - those have definite shape, hmm? ... hummm...- no I give up, I think... slight slight hint for #1?
With #2 , Spoiler AlertI had meant also to elaborate that the "movement" often also indicates gestures, for instance if a person moves his arm, etc ?

Now where was I and why are are these things all over the floor?

When they follow the contours of a body or object, they indicate shaking. 3. Plewds are used to show a character's embarrassment or exertion. 4. Splorts make a character look dazed or drunk. 5. A Briffit shows fast movement or a quick burst of speed.
I have a set of these that I sometimes use with my rubber stamp cartoons. I often wonder if they were named by Rich Hall who created sniglets, words that don't appear in the dictionary but should.
