Status : Online | Who can help me?? I'm looking for a: 3D, Point-and-Click, Third Person, Mystery, Serious Adventure game with no more than Two Discs. It must be worth playing, and must not be ridiculously short. It must make you care for it's characters, and must not be a 'forgettable' game.
Preferably not a sci fi game, you know with aliens and robots, they tend to take away realism for me idk, I'm very picky when it comes to adventure games, lol. Pushing a button and revealing a secret cave leading to treasure, sure. Pushing a button and receiving a laser gun, meh..
I'm sure there are many games like these but I don't know how to find them, I tried google but didn't find anything. I'll give you a list of games I already played so you don't recommend those to me. Feel free to post as many games as you can remember. As always, thanks for the great help, the suggestions I've received in this site form you guys have really led me to play some really cool games.
Games that I've played meeting the description of the kind of game I'm looking for: Broken Sword Series Ark Of Time Chronicles of Mystery And then there were None Murder on the Orient Express Tried Runaway but didn't work on windows 7
Here are some basic pictures of what the game should look like (Even though you guys already know what a third person adventure game is lol):

Thanks a lot, hope I get some good recommendations.

The Longest Journey - although this has certain 'fantasy' elements that you may not get on with, its still one of THE absolute adventure gaming classics.
The FBI Confidential games are like Chronicles of Mystery so you would probably enjoy them
I see you played the first 2 Agatha Christie games, if you enjoyed them you might as well try Evil Under The Sun as well.
The 2 Secret Files games - 'Tunguska' and 'Puritas Cordis' are kind of what you're after, although despite the subject matter they aren't entirely 'serious adventure games'.
The 3 Gabriel Knight games are all good too, but I don't know how easy it is to run them on Windows 7.
Personally, I enjoyed 'Overclocked' as well but its a kind of love it or hate it sort of game, if you read various reviews. Unfortunately you will never know unless you play it
More 'supernatural' type games which are all excellent are
Scratches Black Mirror The Lost Crown The Darkfall series
There are many many more as well that you can find just by checking the reviews on this site!

| Deleted User | You might also consider Momento Mori as it presents somewhat of a serious subject matter. In addition it has several slightly different endings based on choices made during gameplay.

Status : Online | Still Life! It has a tiny bit of supernatural elements, and some characters are very cliched, but the lead characters are awesome and the plot is interesting. Just don't expect much from the ending.

Status : Offline | Can I suggest Moment of Silence? It's a bit slow but it's a point and click with an interesting 'serious' storyline and an engaging protagonist.
Currently playing: Dragon Age Origins, Dishonored, The Witcher, Fallout 3, Deponia

Status : Offline | I'll second Still Life, if you can handle a rather dark story. It's a rich and disturbing game.
I agree that you should probably look at at least one if the FBI Confidential games if you liked Chronicles of Mystery, but be warned that the first and second second are rather alike. I enjoyed COM: Hunt for the Puppeteer more than the first one.
