Hello!
I started a poll about adventure games and graphics, and the resulting thread as well and the current poll results are very interesting.

If developers are reading this forum, I encourage you to check out the poll and thread.

It turns out that I was largely wrong... but it also turns out I may have been wrong in some interesting ways.

The bottom line is of course, what do game buyers make their decisions based on.  Right?

That's most important.
But, especially for indie developers, the question of costs may also be important.

Balance, balance, balance.

You guys have an incredibly hard job...
... And I thank you for it from the bottom of my heart.
I've seen many clever, intelligent signatures.&&This isn't one of them.

IMO balance gives you mediocrity. You can't please all the people al the time.
ecide what will give you a) a competitive advantage and b) the most engrossing game possible for your target audience.
