I agree that Max's voice was terrible. I thought Nina's was bad in the 'emotional' moments too.
Overall it was quite distracting but not enough to spoil the game for me.
Currently playing: Dragon Age Origins, Dishonored, The Witcher, Fallout 3, Deponia

| Deleted User | I thought that overall it was a good game - not terrific but of high quality and very enjoyable. If you take the average of the 4 scores in the Review it comes to 3½/5 or 70%. My own (non Reviewer) personal rating would be somewhere between 77% and 80%.

I played the boxed copy of Secret Files 2 here in the US some time ago. I'm pretty sure I bought it here at the JA+ Store (about the only place I buy AG's) but now I see it's not listed anymore :-?. Maybe they just imported a limited amount.
I don't buy download-only games. Never have, never will........Mike

Status : Online | Strange one this, whilst I was playing it I thought it was a decent game, but since I actually barely remember anything about the story or characters (other than the plot revolves around a mysterious sect causing an explosion in a volcano to set off a side effect of natural disasters to 'fulfil' their own prophecies) it was hardly a memorable experience..
So many of these games look and feel exactly the same nowadays, The FBI confidential games, the Chronicles of Mystery games, Nikopol:Secrets of The Immortals, Return to Mysterious Island, even The TAC Agatha Christie games etc, etc They all seem to merge into one enormously similar gaming experience and its hard to discern what makes any of them stand out from each other..

| Deleted User | I wouln't go as far as that. But I agree there are a vbery limited number of moulds into which you can pour almost every game today - with a few exceptions of course. There are maybe half a dozen or so of these types - and I agree that Secret Files-2 falls into one of them and is not too distinguishable from several others.

Did you play the first one Taumil? Its pretty much in the same style so if you liked that you would probably like Puritas Cordis..

i remember some of the puzzle just doesn't make any sense, pretty much trial and error, use one item on everything :-/ ..not really enjoyable when that happens
