Mafia is most certainly in my top five games of all-time! I really liked it! Many said that they liked the freedom that GTA was giving and i agree but Mafia has a really tight story. It has AWESOME music and sound effects. Also it has PERFECT cinematics and probably the best ending ever...
If you haven't played this then you should most certainly try it! GTA (especially Vice City) had very good gameplay and great music

(as for the in the best 5 games...i am still not sure....i can name it my best game but it is so damit difficult to get from the first places the adventures i love till death...I say mafia as the best game, as it uses many genres it's not just action or adventure or stealth....oh anyway, still undecided...future will tell )
