I don't know whether gender applies to my character.

(I may be missing or have forgotten something, however.)

MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

*ahem*

Sorry.

Deleted UserI'm assuming it is not human then. Is it the protagonist of the game?

*looks at the one piece of evidence on this matter that he knows of offhand*

Hmm...  It's a little hard to tell, I'm afraid.  It might] be vaguely humanoid, in the "head - torso - legs" sense, but I'm honestly not sure of what limbs, if any, it does actually possess, or whether the image that I'm looking at is terribly accurate.  Sorry. ^^;

MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Is it that ugly, disgusting thing in Dreamfall, perhaps?
You can't kill someone in a studio.

No, although I'm now a little more intrigued yet by that game. ^_^

(I have it sitting, waiting to be played - once I finish The Lost Crown I'll probably move on to The Longest Journey.

Edit: The game, that is, not the ugly, disgusting thing.  Although I suppose that it counts too, by inclusion.
)

As I recall, the character is not from the future, and seems to be distinctly unfriendly to the protagonist.

Last I checked, Anubis was usually depicted with all four limbs fairly unambiguously present.

No, at least not one that I'm aware of.

Is it blue?

Nope, I don't believe so.  To the best of my awareness 'tis neither cerulean nor depressed. ;P

(You weren't thinking of Douglas Adams' superintelligent shades of the colour blue, were you? ;P)

No, I don't believe so.

(And I really want to know what creatures you're thinking of, Traveller, once this round is done.

Again, no, I don't think so - not in the "from another planet / dimension" sci-fi sense.  Technically, of course, many things might be considered to be "alien".

Is the "background", so to speak, of the game, a fantasy of sorts? (Is it even possible to ask this, or does this fall too much from the "range" of preferred questions? If that's the case, please, ignore the question.)

Erm - well, that's a fairly nebulous descriptor, potentially, especially, I think, with "of sorts" appended. ^^;

In the sense of "other worlds than Earth, swords-and-sorcery", no, I wouldn't say so.

(Some might argue that it is indeed fantasy - but then, one could arguably include all of fiction under fantasy. ;P)

I'm afraid not. ;P

If I may offer a suggestion, it might help to note that visual questions aren't getting wonderful answers.  Perhaps focus more on the questions related to the setting and environs of my character - take a more indirect approach, in other words.

I think that after two more questions or incorrect guesses, I'm going to give a hint - ironically, I think that I may have been worried at the start that this would be an easy one! XD;

MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Deleted UserI asked if it was some kind of worm or snake, because you said it did not have any upper limbs, right? So I want you to please definitely confirm either way, that it has legs and feet but not arms or hands?

I said that that might be the case; I'm going by the one definite image that I have of it, and that's not clear - this is, I think, why I suggested focussing on things other than its appearance.

I think, come to that, that it's time for my hints:

1) You don't directly encounter this character, but rather learn about them through others (and, perhaps, indirect interactions).  Hence my not being confident that

2) I've said that I've been going, for physical description, by an image.  Your character in-game would also, presumably, be going by that image, if asked for a description.  (By which I mean that it's an image in-game too.)

3) I've said that the image isn't clear.  By this I don't mean that it's fuzzy or of low resolution, but rather that it's stylised.  Unfortunately, the result lends itself to multiple interpretations on the matter of what limbs, if any, it has.

(My apologies if this is a frustrating character that I've picked - I didn't anticipate it being quite this hard, I don't believe!  I will be quite understanding if torches and pitchforks appear once this is over, I think. ^^;;;; )

MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
