Status : Offline | I have to admit, looking over my list of third person games that I've played, I'm having trouble coming up with games that have particularly logical puzzles.
Well, for starters I recommend Perry Rhodan. It's one of the best third person games I've played in recent years.
Also, you might want to try the Broken Sword series as well. Start from the beginning if you do -- the first game is the best of the series.
Full Throttle has a pretty good story, and not too difficult puzzles.

I second Broken Sword, at least The Shadow of the Templars, I'm not so fond of the others. Full Throttle too, and the same would go for all other LucasArts games' you might not have played already.
Not sure how far back you're willing to go, but the Gabriel Knight games are all worth looking into (the first game more so than the sequels). And I also never get tired of recommending Discworld Noir.
For newer games though, I'd say Still Life.
