| Deleted User | Hi, guys - let's play a game: I'll post a pic, and you must guess what game it is from. The person who guesses correctly, gets to post the next image. This thread is meant for normal gamers, - not trivia elitists.
The trivia elitists are of course welcome to come and beat the *** out of us normal folk, but please - when you then post an image - please keep to the well -trodden paths of gaming. The game must have been released in English, and it must be reasonably mainstream games, the kind of game that you will find reviewed on the common AG sites.

Cropping IS allowed.
Repeating the same game IS allowed, but not the same screenshot.
Games released for both consoles and Windows, ARE allowed.
Games released for dual platform DOS/Win 95, or Win 3.1/Win 95, ARE allowed.
Posting from any game released in English for platforms Windows 95 through to Vista, IS allowed.
Using either your own screenshot, or one from the Web, IS allowed.
[highlight]What is NOT allowed:[/highlight]
Games not yet released in English, but in another language, is NOT allowed.
Games pending release but not yet released, in any language, is NOT allowed.
Any game not developed for/ported to the Windows 95 , Windows 98 and all the other Windows editions from Windows 95 through to Vista, is NOT allowed. (Personally I'd like to see popular older games playable in Dosbox and/or ScummVM included as well, but as I have many opponents on that one, that will have to be a fight for another day - if ever.)
Therefore, games exclusive to Win 3.1, early Mac, DOS and any console only such as Gameboy, Playstation etc. only, are NOT allowed.
Posting a screenshot that has been posted before, is NOT allowed (though we'll forgive you if nobody notices ) although posting a different shot from a game that has been featured before, IS allowed.
Posting shots from freeware games, or games so obscure that a review of the game on at least one well-known AG site such as JA+, Gameboomers or Adventure Gamers (even worse, if it is not listed on Mobygames ) can not be pointed out by the poster, will be either disqualified, or the poster will be pelted with rotten tomatoes.

If you're posting from game that was released in a year before 2000, please state the year of release along with your shot.
If nobody has guessed within 24 hours, please post a hint.
Please try and post your own shot within 24 hours of you being named as "on".

| Deleted User | Well, to start things off on a fair footing, this screenshot is from some AG website , and it's just slightly cropped on the left side; -so you should be able to find it on the internet reasonably easily.
Hint: Caroline might knowm the answer, as I remember her mentioning this game, long, long ago...

| Deleted User | No, let me give a hint: you are on the right track with the Jules Verne type theme, in that it might lean in a scientific direction.
One would not really expect the game to have much of a story, though, if you had to take purely the title into account.
