Could it be Quest for Glory too?

JKing, the are a lot of ancient temples that still stand today so the game could be set in any time zone from between when it was built to the present day. What does SPQR mean? - nothing personal as you are not the only person that does it but I do wish that the modern penchant for abbreviations could be limited to when it makes sense!

Hint:
Spoiler AlertThe rooftop is in fact an observatory of sorts.
The aformentioned temple is still there today, but not in great shape, more like a ruin.
NB: SPQR is not an abbreviaton, but a gametitle. A sim about the Roman Empire, I think.

I know that most ppl only visit the Adventure Discussion and Off Topic areas, but under that way of thinking, everything would be posted there!

I completely agree with you about abbreviations! However, in this case the abbreviation is the title of the game: using the expansion "Senatus Populusque Romanus" would make less sense, not more, since you wouldn't be able to search for the game by title.

So why did you have your Alphabet game in the Adventure forum then?

Btw, I made a global post trying to get more ppl to come down here. If ppl are too bored to click on more than 1 or 2 forum areas, then I can't do anything about that.
You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

I mean, realistically this is an AG site. Technical support and Hot Topics aren't necessarily used for discussing AG stuff.
The Developers Zone could get dropped down to this middle section.
My 2 cents. :-/

You don't start the game off on the rooftop of a temple though... perhaps later in the game?

You start out in the garden, but once you gain acces to the main building, you go to the rooftop and have to find a way to communicate (through an ancient communication device).
Well done.
So, now it is up to you!
