Recenetly my anti-virus has been detecting and blocking some things when I go to Just Adventure.

At first it was just the home page, but now it seems like there's something in the forum as well.

I know there has been a post about this, but the problem has not yet been solved (or even adressed by a moderator, I think).

Can anything be done about this please?

Deleted UserI don't know where to post this so I'm putting it in here and the on main Adventure game forum.

I visit many Forums & Sites and ONLY get the following on JA+ --- Forums and Home page... none of the other Sites are likewise affected.
I thought it might be my computer only but I notice it referenced on GameBoomers and it's mentioned that other Sites are similarly affected.
So it's evidently not just a quirk of my computer or my anti-virus routine.

On accessing anything on JA+ I get the following warning message in red at the bottom of my screen which vanishes after about 12 seconds or so and does no harm to anything AFAIK.

Network shield: Blocked access to malicious site ---  **www**.tuovideo.it/flvideo/  .g/index.php

Everytime I visit the site Kaspersky Security shows me this message: 'Firefox loading object. Virus HEUR: Trojan.Script.Infamer. Access denied'. Should I worry?

Yes Len, it's worrisome. My computer has been hanging up when I get to JA and that 'tuovideo' name has been included in the message at the bottom of the screen where it appears to be hanging on an attempt to load whatever it is or send me to wherever it's trying to send me. As a result as I do in these situations, I will be reloading my backed up C-drive image to get rid of whatever may have been added to my system.

The future ain't what it used to be!

It never happens to me. I presume you've already run an anti-virus sweep of your pc.

I've been aware of this for a couple of days, Len, and there's already a thread about it here:
http://justadventure.com/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1233878327/10

I've also just posted a sticky message about it here:

Deleted UserSorry Karla.
I only regularly access Off-Topic, 'Main', and JA+ Home page.
I see that you were onto the anomaly before me !!

Deleted UserI've been getting messages from my Superantuspyware that something wants to fiddle with my registry, and I've been manually denying the changes.
*sigh* I guess I'll have to do a proper malware scan soon, but I really wish they'd fix this problem, in case that's what been trying to change my registry.

EDIT: Ok, I have in the meantime read Karla's post about the problem. I'll let her know if I still get my registry problem after visiting the JA site, once I've determined I'm clean before entering the JA site.

My antivirus software also complains when visiting JA+. Something about a file (http://justadventure.com/yabb/fader.js) being infected with HEUR:Trojan.Script.Iframer.

I received that same message, LenG but with one more detail: Exploit.JS.Pdfka. ec <-- no space. I was advised to terminate the 'download'. Very odd...

http://justadventure.com/yabb/YaBB.pl?num=1234291263

The anomaly is still there.
In my case at least (using "Avast" anti-virus) it is only very mildly off-putting since it seems to do no harm at all, and fades out after about 10 seconds every time.

I only posted this alert in case it was the precursor to another hacking attack !
Some members seem to be more worried and maybe even have some troubles ?!!!

Once again I just got the same message at the bottom of the screen that something from the 'tuovideo' site was attempting to load. The thing is that I use a Win98SE computer for all internet use so that may account for the fact that all that happens is that my computer hangs up and then Internet Explorer crashes. This appears to be something that operates on some random generator because sometimes it occurs & sometimes it doesn't.

The future ain't what it used to be!

Deleted UserMy computers are XP and the 'phenomenon' occurs consistently but does no harm except a few seconds "addition" which don't even cover any significant part of the screen &/or contents.

I get the pop-up twice for every page I surf to in JA. It says some malicious script is being run by IEXPLORE.EXE and that its a trojan.

This is my first time here in about 3(?) years just back to ask for some game recommendations.

Well, I don't often get onto JA anymore but as soon as I did just now I received the same message as Len - I also am using Avast, just seems to be an annoyance and I do know that Avast is inclined to throw up virus messages that are incorrect - but probably better that way than not throwing anything up at all.

Deleted UserI switched from Norton to Avast a couple of years ago IIRC.
I don't remember getting "a virus message that is incorrect".
I may have got some transitory quirk (???) but this anomaly has been going on absolutely consistently for days on end, and I DO access JA+ a great deal (several times every day).

13 FEB 2009 at 6:16pm
Deleted UserI didn't get the message before, but now I am getting it every single time I post or access a new thread.

But even more frutrating, is that I suddenly cannot access either new or existing PMs, not even ones I have sent myself, sitting in my outbox!    [smiley=hair_pull.gif]     [smiley=hair_pull.gif]     [smiley=hair_pull.gif]
