The sequel to Deus Ex is scheduled now for June.

This game has inched its way to the top of my favorites list over the past year or so as I play more games and realize just how ground-breaking and different it really was. I have rarely been as immersed. For awhile I WAS JC Denton (which is pretty weird since I am not male)!

The sequel has all the markings of a great game, too, so I look forward to it with much excitement.

What about everyone else? Is DX:Invisible War high on your lists?  :

HI,

Very high on my list and several others here.  I am waiting now til tomorrow and Splinter Cell.

I thought maybe I would install Deus Ex and play some of it so strange you brought it up.

Unreal II is another good game.

Thanks for the update!

Yes, it's actually the highest in my quite reduced list.
But I'm a bit afraid it might turn out a disappointment.

You could be sure, no sooner had I ended DX that I was waiting the arrival of the sequel. Without doubt the best game I've ever played.

I can't say about any single game that it is the best I've ever played but Deus Ex sure is in my top ten or top five... if the sequel is just half as good, it ought to be a very good game.
I forgot my sig.

Agreed! I have lots of favorite games and I have enjoyed most of the games I have actually played to completion, but only a few games REALLY affected me, and they would be Unreal, Deus Ex, Myst, and The Longest Journey. Each of these made me think/act/wonder in ways I had not previously, so I must give them credit for being Leah-shattering.  :

I look forward to DX2 in the same way I anticipated Unreal2. I am playing the latter right now and it is not at all as Leah-shattering as its predecessor but it is still loads of fun. Maybe I can't be shattered much anymore. Time will tell.
