the word "new" is automatically placed next to every thread that is new or has a new post, you don't have to do it yourself

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

hi, thx for your answer, but somehow that seems not to be correct, then when you look at my thread that i typed, i am the only one who does not show the word "new" in front of my thread, while everybody else shows "new".

Once you read a topic, it loses its "New" tag. Since you read it, the "New" for you is gone. For others that have not read it, it's still "New".
