Status : Offline | I've been missing for a while. Couldn't get back in after the server move. Then I got busy at work, etc. etc.  ecided it was time to check back in. With Aya's help, I was finally able to rejoin this group. Hi everyone!

Ah well, that's life I guess but I tend to agree with Helen that the forum on the whole appears - at first glance anyway - to be very quiet now! [smiley=raise_eyebrow.gif]

Status : Offline | Mara I'm so delighted you came back.... [big hug] The server move threw a few of us off too but I bullied Aya into letting me back in.... [smiley=devil_smiley_grintail.gif] And I must say, good on him for ignoring the petition to keep me out.....
Helen We'll just have to hope those people who left in a huff come to miss us enough to return. Meanwhile, isn't it hot?

I'm so sorry. What a terrible time you've been having. Men are so reserved about announcing these things. I'm not taken in a bit about you mentioning your car first. A close friend announced his divorce by saying 'see my new car - she's got the other one'....
My sincere sympathies - no matter how you cut it, it hurts.

If it makes you feel any better, the Jags have a relatively bad frequency-of-repair record. That Toyota or Honda will rarely see the auto-repair shop!

That's what's happening right now, so I'm technically still here and I visit JA's main page everyday to see what's new, even if I'm not posting. I've been occupying my evenings with Final Fantasy XII on the PS2, so after a long, busy day and a couple hours of playing, I am ready for sleep!
I heard the Minneapolis Bridge Collapse made national - and even international - news, but for those who don't know what I'm talking about, Yahoo has a news feed site here that contains links to other sites' articles. The Pioneer Press and Star Tribune are the St. Paul and Minneapolis papers, respectively, if you're looking for local news.

I expect they'll take a couple of years to decide who to blame. Now some people are calling for all our bridges to be looked at too. Let's all have a group panic shall we.
