This is one of the first adventures I ever finished (at the time there were no on-line walkthroughs, so it wasn't easy)

Right, it used to be quite a classic, I think it's one of the first adventures inspired by a TV series.

To celebrate my 666th post, I'll "show some heart" and not make this one too difficult...

Thanks. It does have distinct art style, although I've never seen this image before (and never played the game, obviously)

Ok, next image:

Nice try, Shany
It's Spycraft: The Great Game
You can find this image on Moby Games
You don't even need to know the game to guess it, a quick search for adventures and CIA will do the trick

Alright, you asked for it, the next screenshot is diabolical  [smiley=devil_smiley_grintail.gif]
This game is so difficult you'll cry mama for help (well, you should probably cry Bastich
)
I think I was one of only five persons to finish this adventure at the time (that including the creator)

Could it be the original Oregon Trail, Superedy?

No, it's a normal adventure with a parser (you know, that prehistoric thing capable of understanding almost [s]anything[/s] nothing
)

Correct  [smiley=clap.gif]
One of the first games with disk swapping and one of the very few games where you could click on the verbs instead of typing (a la Borrowed Times and Tass Times in Tone Town).
I must confess I had to do an ASCII dump of the executable to finish the game (talking about cheating  :-[)
