Hi
I'm glad to see JA back on but I do have several problems. They were doing this before what ever happed. The forum Jumps up and down. This happens in 98SE when I'm using Foxfire. It goes sideways when I use the Explorer. I did discover it does the same thing on the XP. I hadn't tried it on the XP till yesterday.
Also it is difficult to get from your page about login. It used to go straight to the main forums but now you have to hunt for them. I'm not critizing I just thought you might be able to tell me what or why this could be happening. We are happy to see it back on. So again Thanks for your hard work.

What resolution is your monitor set at? If I recall, the jumping problem happens with resolutions lower than the optimum one for the forum.

the jumpy thing happens only on 800x600 (or lower)... the forum is optimized for 1280x1024, but there are no probs on 1024x768

as for not going straight to the forums, this was done on purpose, so that ppl will know ahead of time that they may have lost their account and what they need to do to recover it... it's temporary, and it will be removed eventually... in the meantime, you can go to the main page from that post and then add that to your favorites and never have to see that message again!

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Hi
Thanks for the info. I guess I'll have to just put up with the jump as I can't read that little tiny print. I want to read what is on the screen and not think it is fly specks on it. Thanks again.

what's the size of your monitor? have you tried 1024x768? things aren't that small on that resolution, unless the monitor is too little (14'' or lower)... you could also try 1024x768 and large fonts... leaving 800x600 you'll realize not only the ja forums look a lot better, but almost every other site you visit!

Hi
I run 19 inch monitors and yes I did check but as I'm not as young as I used to be I even have to use glasses to read 800X600. So thank you for your help. And yes you are correct that is the problem with it jumping around. At least I know what the problem is. Thanks Again.
