Deleted UserI upgraded to IE 7. Now, every time I Preview or Post, I get a prompt asking if I want to allow the web app access to my clipboard. I cannot find a way to disable this. I've looked in Tools, Options, but perhaps I've missed it.

Anyone?

I'm not an IE user, but I recall some other forumites running into this same problem. Quoting the fix here, courtesy of Lucien:

"In Tools/Internet Options, click the Security Tab, click Custom, and scroll
down to the Scripting section. Under 'Allow Programmatic clipboard access',
click Enable. The default is prompt. That should nix the messages."

Yep, I'm the one who had that issue and Lucien came to the rescue, now all is fine.

Thank the Lord!  That was getting extra annoying - on the forum and in a web based e-mail account of mine.

I knew it had to be related to IE7, too, because I was only getting the error at work, not at home (where I'm still using IE6).

A description of all these security settings and what they do would be helpful.  It's not always so obvious!

I miss my Bubba: 1986 - 2006.
