The ND games are released twice per year: one in the summer and one in the fall. The summer game is usually short and sweet, while the fall game is longer and more satisfying. This year, however, things have changed. The fall release, The Creature of Kapu Cave, is rather short and leaves some things to be desired, but is still a great mystery.

PROS:
- Hawaii has never looked better. The graphics are gorgeous, and the animations are top-notch for an ND game.
- The characters are good, but the voice acting is even better.
- Inclusion of Hardy Boys adds another dimension of gameplay.
- Educational value (as always!)
- Outstanding soundtrack (as always!)

CONS:
- I felt there was something lacking in this game. There didn't seem to be enough characters or character interaction and, as I said, it was rather short.
- As usual, the puzzles are a mixed bag. There are still a lot of unnecessary chores in this game, but some of them are kind of fun.

OVERALL: Highly recommended if you're looking for an attractive, interesting mystery story. A strong entry in the series!

Great review! I thought it was okay, though not the best of the ND series.
I agree, the scenery was beautiful, and most of the voice acting was good (except, I don't really like Nancy's voice). But, it was a bit too short. I also felt something was lacking. Not quite sure what, though.

Thanks for the review! 8-)
