Used to be quite rare, but not nowadays. Nice game provided you don't mind static backdrops and arty (obviously !), settings. Very easy and quite short. I liked it. '8'.

Beware ! If you play this on Windows 98, there's a very, very wicked bug that crops up right at the end of the game, and, which, spoils the game if you don't prepare for it with an imported game save. Unbelievable ! I was stuck for ages until someone helped me out and told me that it was a bug (Mr Bill, I think it was, that told me - can't recall exactly.).

 Antoinetta,

Would you like me to watch out for it for you in the UK ? The company reissuing it has a licence to reissue it, bought from Wanadoo. It's a bit of an unusual situation, but I'll explain if you want to P.M. me, or Email. Either way, I'll give you a shout if I see it here.

It used to be rare but is now easy to get hold of.  A power seller on British ebay offers lots of Wanadoo games, inlcuding Monet. There's one on ebay right now (8203025889), Buy It Now price only 4.95 pounds.  I bought one from him myself. He started doing this months ago -- at a much higher price --  with the result that there are also about a dozen unopened copies available on the trading zone (gametz.com).

Another option is softwide.com. Based in the UK. They are *licensed* by Wanadoo to burn a copy on demand. Price 8.49 pounds. Complete with manual and everything. Apparently all above board. They have their own technology. The package in DVD case will look almost identical to the one offered on ebay, but it is still a burned copy of course.

So at the moment your options are: an official copy for 4.95 or a burned one for 8.49.
