One of the first games I played and what a struggle ! Played it on PS, which made it even slower than on PC. The music was 'nice', and the 'edutainment' side of it was okay. I don't dislike edutainment -type games in general. But it certainly dragged. I didn't even finish it properly as I couldn't complete the hedge maze, even with the walkthrough . . . . so I blew up the king ! Gave this one a '4'.

I gave it a 4, because that's the chapter I got stuck on. I had about one location to go to and they kept telling me to go away.

Seeing Versailles like that was nice, but that's about it. The navigation was aweful, it used a 360 degrees navigation with the mouse, which meant that you had to be very accurate if you wanted to go forward instead of just spinning around. Not a fun way to play.

The puzzles were boring. One of them had you going back and forth about 4 times so someone could analyze a song you found. Just tedius.
Another puzzle -  I had several pieces of paper with me. One was blank, and putting it above a candle revealed a message. I put a different piece... "game over". Apparently my character is smart enough not to burn a blank piece of paper, but not smart enough not to burn an order from the king...

And then I learned there was a timed sequence at the end and decided that there is no reason to finish this game.
