The Wild, Wild West

SouthPeak Interactive
Projected Release Date: November 1999

Not only were we impressed by the crisp 3D graphics of The Wild, Wild West, but we were also awed by the faithful recreation of the entire era. SouthPeak's devotion to historical accuracy went so far as to cause them to send the game's designers to study the landmark of President Lincoln's assassination--Ford's Theater in Washington, DC. Even more impressive to us as adventure gamers was the player's ability to control the amount of action or adventure in the game based on your choice of character. In a smart marketing move, both the PC and PSX versions of WWW are scheduled to be released late November simultaneous with the home video version of this summer's expected Will Smith/Warner Brothers blockbuster. It looks as though SouthPeak is prepared to atone for their last big movie tie-in, Men in Black.
