Hi, my name is Chris (or just Jax) and I'm an adventure fanatic. I'm an advid reader of your reviews at JustAdventure and I think that you give clear, well-expressed views on most adventure games. The vast majority of your reviews are both accurate and well-written, but I think that you might have been a little critical with some of your writings.

For example: I am appalled that you gave -Gilbert Goodmate and the Mushroom of Phungoria- a C...Minus! Sure, the voice acting was a little strained at times, especially coming from the main character and the whole game itself read 'Monkey Island clone', but I have to say it was an excellent clone, and we probably won't see a better one.

You can hardly call me and amature, if that's what your thinking, but Gilbert Goodmate deserved a lot better. It totally did justice to Monkey Island and brought back nostalgic memories of King's Quest. Surely you could have given Prelusion more respect.

And, when I was browsing through the site looking for random reviews, I came upon the 'Dungeon of Shame'. I wondered why I had never noticed it before and then I almost had a seizure when I saw that -Silverload- had been given and 'F'. I must admit that the interface of Silverload was a little 'off', but that was just about where the atrocities ended. The artwork wasn't all that bad (but I must confess, the cutscenes, as well as the opening movies, simply sucked), it gave the game it's atmosphere. The 'sudden deaths' and 'see you in hell gave the 'horror' setting. And I don't see the big hoohah about the voicing. It wasn't bad at all. In fact, it was pretty good. I don't know what got you up so bad about it and all, maybe it was because of the pricing.(I got it for 3 bucks!)

I might have offended you by telling you all of the above, I'm half expecting you to flame me back, but I'm simply expressing my views. I'm not at all discouraging you to write reviews, you're and excellent critic. I hope that you do not take any offense.

Well, I'm off to continue exploring Phungoria (that's right, I haven't finished it yet).
