Greetings.
Not to annoy you or anything, but on reporting the mistake about
the
Hannibal game you also made a tiny mistake. The beloved serial killer
is
named Hannibal Lecter. He was called Hannibal Lecktor in Manhunter,
but
nowhere else has it ever been anything else than Lecter.
Besides that great article,
keep up the good work. I love the see the sales
figures, and think, if possible, you should piblish them more often.
A thing
you could mention sometimes though is about the sales of Action
games with
soem thinking/puzzle aspects. Games like 'Prince of Persia:Sands
of time'
and 'Beyond good and evil'. Of course you did mention those, but
I meant
specifically the bad sales of those games on the pc. The pc, which
is the
native platform of us adventure gamers isn't it. I was rather shocked
and
disappointed. I know piracy is a big problem on pc, but you'd think
that
there were at least a bunch of
decent people around. I purchased them for pc, but the games on pc were
abysmal. I think these kinds of games going to consoles exclusively would be
a very bad thing. First of all because I wouldn't want to play them on
console and also because publisher seem to think: 'consoles ----> not too
intelligent, and loads of action'. At least Eidos seem to think that,
judging by Deus Ex: Invisible war. It has abominable voice acting and a
story that even the writers of 'the bold and the beautiful' would be ashamed
to use.
I originally just wanted to point out your tiny mistake and have
made my
email into a rant :-).
Anyway, keep up the good work,
Mikel D.
We will consider publishing the action game sales figures in the
future
