Application Systems Heidelberg, joined by Alasdair Beckett-King (Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet) is a developer/publisher working with three-man indie studio Backwoods Entertainment to bring us the point-and-click mystery adventure Unforeseen Incidents. The game has been inspired by programs such as The X-Files and Lost.

Is it possible to fight for the future of the world armed only with a multi-tool? Well, as small-town handyman Harper Pendrell, that's what you're going to discover in Unforeseen Incidents. Harper will stumble into a mystery concerning an unknown disease, complete with a conspiracy and dangerous fanatics.

What is Harper to do? The disease is sprading across the country, and he can't stop something this big all by himself. He must find some help!

Will Harper be willing to expose the truth, even if it means his own demise? The only way to find out will be to play Inforeseen Incidents.

The game, featuring beautiful, hand-painted 2D graphics, a cast of interesting characters and lots of intriguing locations, is to be released in Q4 2017 for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. Meanwhile, it will be putting in an appearance at Gamescom 2017 in Cologne, Germany, which runs August 23-26.
