You wake up. The last thing you remember was lying in bed at home. But you aren't home anymore. Looking around, you quickly establish four things: you're in a prison; your clothes are missing; your hands are tied; and you can't remember how you got here.

In Stonewall Penitentiary, you play the role of William Thane, a middle-aged man down on his luck. You, along with several others, are trapped in an abandoned prison, held captive by a sociopath obsessed with justice. Can you escape? Success lies in your hands!

Stonewall Penitentiary is the fourth game in a series from Storycentric Worlds. In a departure from the developer's previous games (Lifestream, Shady Brook and The Filmmaker), Stonewall Penitentiary is being constructed with a brand new engine that combines adventure game mechanics with those of visual novels.

While the game is not slated for release until Winter 2017, a playable demo has been released on Windows. The developer would like your feedback, so look for a short survey after the demo's conclusion.

The full game will last 10+ hours and feature a story that combines the horror of Saw and the mystery of Agatha Christie. You'll explore an abandoned prison, uncover dark secrets, solve challenging puzzles and encounter three different endings. Stonewall Penitentiary is to be released by the end of the year on Windows, iOS and Android.
