Jennifer Wilde to be Adapted as an Adventure Game
Jennifer Wilde to be Adapted as an Adventure Game
Developer Outsider Games, comic publisher Atomic Diner and Northern Ireland Screen have partnered to transform the award-winning comic book into a supernatural point-and-click adventure

Jennifer Wilde: The Ghost of Oscar Wilde will transport you to back to 1921 and Jazz-Age Paris. Young artist Jennifer Chevalier has recently lost her father, whom she suspects may have been murdered.

Jennifer has a gift that enables her to talk to spirits. When she finds a locket at her father's hotel, she uses it in an attempt to speak to his ghost.

Unwittingly, she summons the ghost of Oscar Wilde instead. It seems that the Irish playwright is bound to the locket due to an affair Jennifer's father.

Together, the two embark on an adventure across France, England and Ireland in an effort to solve the suspected murder. In the process, they become close friends.

Jennifer Wilde: The Ghost of Oscar Wilde features ink-washed 2D graphics that capture the aesthetic of the original comic book. It's billed as the spiritual successor to Outsider Games' Wailing Heights.

The game's release date is TBD. I've been unable to confirm platforms; I can only presume that Windows will be one of them.
